"Using my Polaroid cameras, I have been taking photographs of local parks, physically manipulating the images, and then having them enlarged by Toon. I enjoy the way faces or figures sometimes emerge from the scenes; shadows or spaces between tree branches may stand out. I hope the photographs give a glimpse of the original, natural Manhattan."
